Enhanced Odds Offers
Enhanced Odds Offers
Enhanced Odds Offers are becoming more and more common these days. Many sites offer massively enhanced odds offers for new customers where you can get a clear favourite such as Barcelona to win a game against a ‘lesser’ team at odds like 3/1 instead of 1/12. (This example is based on a previous offer for Barcelona to beat Espanyol at home in 2016)
These offers are great because even if your bets don’t win, most sites will refund your stake as a free bet so you can try again!
Enhanced Odds Offers vary a lot though, in both the odds and the terms and conditions that come with them. It is always vital to check the terms and conditions of any of these offers very carefully, they even differ from offer to offer on the same site. Below you’ll find descriptions of the three main types of Enhanced Odds Offers, make sure you check to make sure which one you’re getting before you claim them!
Enhanced Odds – Winnings As Cash
Some sites will offer you boosted odds as a new customer and pay you all the winnings as cash. Coral are usually the best for this – for almost every major match they have an enhanced odds offer and most of them pay all of your winnings as cash which you can withdraw straight away. Getting your winnings as cash is of course the best option for enhanced odds so if you see an offer like this make sure to claim it!
Example: Enhanced Odds of 3/1 (from 1/12) will return £40 cash from a £10 bet.
Enhanced Odds – Winnings As Free Bets
Sometimes, however, Coral will offer you winnings as free bets although this offer is more commonly found on sites like Betfair. When you sign up and claim your enhanced odds you will get paid all your winnings as free bets to use on bets of your choice. This is the worst option for enhanced odds offers out there.
Example: Enhanced Odds of 3/1 (from 1/12) will return £40 in free bets from a £10 bet.
Enhanced Odds – Normal Winnings As Cash, Bonus Money as Free Bets
This one is the middle ground between the two offers described above. You’ll still get the same amount of winnings as you would with the other two offers, only this time your winnings are split between cash and free bets. Therefore you’ll get the winnings you would have got if there were no enhanced odds paid as cash as if the offer wasn’t there. Then you’ll get the rest of your winnings awarded as free bets.
Example: Enhanced Odds of 3/1 (from 1/12) will return £10.83 cash and £29.17 in free bets from a £10 bet.
If you are interested in claiming some of these offers then we recommend you either go to Coral or head over to Betfair. These sites almost always have some great enhanced price offers for new customers so it’s well worth taking advantage of them. Don’t forget that if you sign up and claim one of these price boost offers – you will not be able to get the sign up free bet too. For example if you sign up to Betfair and claim enhanced odds, you will not be eligible for their bet £10 and get £30 in free bets offer.
