Dinamo Zagreb v. Arsenal
Dynamo Kyiv v. FC Porto
KAA Gent v. Lyon
Olympiakos v. FC Bayern Munich
Roma v. Barcelona
Valencia CF v. Zenit St PetersburgSome interesting looking fixtures across these 2 days. Here are Football Bet Profit’s Champions League betting tips for the first week of the 2015/2016 Competition:
1: Manchester City v Juventus
No one has started the season better than Manchester City. City improved an already excellent side with some great signings over the summer and have won all their games in the Premier League so far without conceding a goal. Despite the possiblity of Aguero missing the game with an injury, we believe City will be too strong for a Juventus side that have just 1 point from 3 games in Serie A.
2: Sevilla v Borussia Monchengladbach
Sevilla’s record in European Football speaks for itself and we think they’ll be far too strong for Monchengladbach who have lost all four of their Bundasliga games so far. Sevilla haven’t had the greatest start themselves but should still prove too much for Monchengladbach.
3: Paris Saint-Germain v Malmö FF
This one doesn’t really require much of an explanation, the French champions should make light work of the Swedish side here. PSG have made a good start to the season and their experience in Europe should see a comfortable home win for them. You’re looking at odds of 1/5 – 1/6 on this so it’s not one to make money on as a single but definitely worth it to pad out an accumulator with.
4: Bayer Leverkusen v BATE Borisov
Leverkusen haven’t had the best start to the season but they showed in their 3-0 home play-off win against Lazio that they can step up to the plate in European competition. We think the outsiders BATE will struggle to compete with the quality Leverkusen have.
5: Olympiakos v FC Bayern Munich
Backing Bayern Munich rarely needs an explanation. Munich have started the season as you’d expect from the German champions with 4 wins from 4 in the Bundasliga. Despite being away to a decent Olympiakos side, we think they’ll come away with the 3 points. At odds of just under evens its hard to resist!
6: Roma v Barcelona
Another game with odds too good to resist. Roma have started the season well in Serie A but we think Barcelona and Lionel Messi will prove too good to stop as they almost always do. Barca put 3 past Roma in a pre-season friendly last month and we shouldn’t expect much different here.
These are our 6 picks from across Tuesday and Wednesdays Champions League fixtures. Football Bet Profit are sticking all these in a sixfold accumulator:
A £50 bet on these 6 teams returns a massive £492 if you get the best odds!
